Library Collections


The Arkansas State Library is a federal and state depository library, as well as a patent and trademark depository. ASL collections also include non-fiction, reference, and library science materials.


Additionally, the library holds a wide array of state newspapers and subscriptions to many online databases.

Arkansas Regulations Library Science
The rules and regulations of Arkansas state agencies. Circulating collection. Materials reflecting the current body of knowledge of the library and information science fields; circulating collection.

Federal Documents Reference
Local access to publications from all three branches of the Federal government. Non-circulating materials which supply current, authoritative information and identify information sources useful for further research.

Patents & Trademarks Stacks
Depository containing backfile collections and current patent issues, as well as the Official Gazette for both patents and trademarks. General non-fiction; circulating collection.
