Renewals

Videos cannot be renewed. Borrowers may renew all other materials once over the phone or through their online accounts. If an item is desired for longer than this period, patrons must first present the item due at the Circulation desk. If no holds have been placed on the item, it may be rechecked out to the patron.

All items must be renewed before they become overdue. No overdue items may be renewed, and no additional items may be checked out until the overdue materials are returned.

Fines & Overdues

The Arkansas State Library does not charge overdue fees, but repeated lateness may result in loss of borrowing privileges.

Borrowers will be invoiced for the replacement cost of lost or damaged materials. If the item is in-print, the charge will be the current cost of replacing the item. The charge for lost or damaged materials which are out-of-print will be determined by Collections Development.
